Punte is Multi-Purpose feature rich WordPress theme for newspaper, magazine, corporate, business and general blogging website. This template was created to help you in creating a fully customizable site with the help of easy to use option panel. We added incredible features for a high-quality browsing experience from all types of devices.

Requirements for Punte

In this section we will present the recommended configuration under which the theme would work perfectly. Those are not absolute values, the theme performance depends on many factors like the host performance, server configuration and the number of visitors.

Hosting requirements

If WordPress performs fine on your host, the theme should too. Next we will present you a list of common hosts and the traffic you can expect to host on them.

Please note that the numbers quoted here do not represent a guarantee, hosting performance is depended on your WordPress configuration, plugin configuration and general OS configuration. All numbers assume that you use a caching plugin like wp super cache. Also a CDN solution like Cloud Flare should help a lot.

You can install the theme addons in two ways: through WordPress or via FTP.

After downloading theme addons files, you will have to extract the main bundle zip. After extracting you will get different plugin installable files install them separately.

Demos: Introduction

Developing a fully functional beautiful template but using its components to create a well designed and attractive site layout is yet challenging and exciting. Punte Pro comes with the 23+ prebuilt in demos to avoid such hassle amongst the users. Now you may choose any demo as per your requirement from the built-in demo installation option.

Dummy contents are used in the demos. These contents can later be changed with one of your own.

Disabling Custom Post Types

The theme has inbuilt Three custom Post types - Portfolio, Testimonial & Team. These Post types might come in handy for some specific type of sites. For e.g If you were to develop a simple portfolio website where you wish to display your works and skills then having Portfolio Post Type Enabled will provide you further option to display them systematically. In case you don't wish to use these Post Types in your site you may disable them by following these steps:

Website Container width option allows you to define the container width size for your size. The contents of the sites will be displayed inside this width size. To configure the Container width for your site follow these steps:

Configuring Content | Sidebar width Ratio

The Content | Sidebar width ratio option allows you to define the width ratio between content and sidebar. For e.g. if you have set the container width to 1200 and have defined the Content | Sidebar width ratio to 70% | 30% then the content will occupy 840px and sidebar will occupy 360px. The Content | Sidebar width ratio option works only in the page with one sidebar. To configure the Content | Sidebar width ratio follow these steps:

Setting Sidebar Layouts for Pages and Posts

You may set the Sidebar layout for the pages and posts in two ways. One via theme option which will globally apply the sidebar option to all the pages and posts and other by meta option which will individually apply the layout option to the specifc pages and posts only.

How Header Setitngs work

The theme provides you to use any of the header style from the available Six Header Layouts or You may also Choose to create your own custom header for your site via Header Builder. The Header set via Custom Header Builder option will overwrite all the settings made for the default header styles. It is one of the powerful option giving users full control over the header layouts.

Portfolio is a One of the custom post type feature provided by the punte. The main aim of having this custom post type within the template is to provide the user with the more flexibility and option to display the portfolios in the site. Using a different Post Type for the portfolio distinguishes the portfolio posts from other post types.

To configure Portfolio successfully within the site please make sure that Portfolio is not marked under the Disable Post Types Options From Dashboard > Punte Options > Getting Started > General Settings. How Woocommerce Settings Work.

The Punte template has been designed to be compatible with the one of the most popular ecommerce plugin Woocommerce. All you need to do is install this very plugin and add the products and the product pages are well displayed in the front with further customizable Options.

There might be a time you wish to make changes within the sites whether major or minor and want to prevent the visitors from viewing the scrambled website. Punte provides an alternative way to handle this kind of situation by providing a feature to build a construction page and show it to the users while the site is still under construction. Introduction : 404 Error

Sometimes the visitors might type in the wrong urls for the inner pages of your sites by default this kind of error request  is redirected to the 404 Error Page of the template informing the visitors, that the url for the page requested is not valid within the site. But the Theme provides a unique way to handle these 404 error requests. Now you can perform one of the following three action whenever a visitor tries to visit invalid link within your site.

Typography : Introduction

Typography is the art and technique of arranging type to make written language legible, readable, and appealing when displayed. A Site with a good typographies is always appealing and eye catchy. With that in mind we have an inbuilt option to choose among 400+ Google Fonts and make the custom adjustments to these texts like font size, color, weight etc to suit you the best.

The Theme also provides the custom option to wirte your own custom css and js codes without having to modify the templates codes itself. These custom css and js will override the default styles of the templates. It is a flexible way to make minor css and js customizations but if you are to make a major changes with the styles and javascript codes using a child theme would be a greater idea. Visual Composer : Introduction

Visual Composer is a premium page builder plugin created by wpbakery. The Plugin is a powerful tool with highly flexible options and settings to create versatile site layouts. It provides a drag and drop feature using which even a general user can create a site in no time.

The Punte theme is bundled with the Visual Composer plugin. It is a highly recommended plugin for developing the site as most of the components to build a Magazine and Corporate themes depends upon this plugin.

The Plugin is bundled within the Punte Theme Bundle file. Find the js_composer.zip file and follow these steps:

Creating Layouts

Visual composer allows you to use the default layouts or make custom layouts of your own. For creating the layout follow these steps:

Visual Composer provides its own default elements for e.g. Text Block, Icon, Seperator etc. With the Punte theme installed you will have further access to more composer elements using which one can create diferent Versatile websites.

Basically, in this theme the Visual Composer Elements are Categorized into to categories.

  1. Punte News
    > It Contains the magazine and specific visual composer elements like blog grid block, blog grid etc. But these elements aren't limited to be used within the magazine sites only, you may use the elements in other types of sites too depending upon your choice.
  2. Punte
    > It contains other miscellaneous visual composer elements which is generally used for corporate sites, one page sites etc.. Progress Bar, Icon Text Block, Testimonial Carousel etc are some of the elements to name some found under this category.

This Element will allow you to add the Text box with an icon which migh be helpful in displaying the features and services your company provides in your site.

This Element will allow you to display the pricing scheme of the products or services your company provides. The element is more useful in the business and corporate sites.

This Element will allow you to display a short profile description about the team member. You may display the name, designation, social links etc. about the team member using this element.
